Dr. Stone is one of the initial founders of Dothan Medical Associates, P.C. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in 1981. His internship, residency and fellowship were completed at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Stone is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. He is also AACE certified in thyroid ultrasound.

He is married to Marie. They have two children, Daniel and Caitlin.
