Dr. Wewers joined Dothan Medical Associates, P.C., in June 2003. He received a medical degree from University of South Alabama, Mobile in May 2000. His internship and residency was completed at University Hospital, Birmingham, AL in June 2003. Dr. Wewers is board certified in Internal Medicine.

He is married to Heather. They have four children, Jackson, Julian, Jordan and Devon.
