Dr. Doty joined Dothan Medical Associates, P.C. in 1992. He received his medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham, AL in 1985. He completed his internship and residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Doty is board certified in Internal Medicine and also has a BS in Pharmacy.

Dr. Doty is married to Martha. They have four children, Walt (who is a pulmonologist), Matthew, Farra and Krystle.
